Shri Ramchandra kripalu bhaju man haran bhavbhay darunam, Navkanj lochan kanj mukh kar kanj pad kanjarunam.
O mind, worship the compassionate Shri Ramchandra, who removes the dreadful fear of worldly existence. His eyes are like fresh lotuses, and his face, hands and feet are lotus-like, rosy as red lotuses.

Kandarp aganit amit chhavi navneel neerad sundaram, Patpeet manahun tadit ruchi shuchi naumi Janak sutavaram.
His beauty surpasses countless Kamadevs, and he is lovely as a fresh dark rain cloud. His yellow garment gleams like lightning; I bow to that pure one, the husband of Janak's daughter.
Bhaju Deenbandhu Dinesh danav daitya vansh nikandanam, Raghunand anand kand Kosal chand Dashrath nandanam.
Worship the friend of the humble, radiant as the sun, who uproots the clans of demons. He is the joy of Raghu's line, the root of bliss, the moon of Kosala and the son of Dashrath.
Shir mukut kundal tilak charu udaru ang vibhushanam, Aajanubhuj shar chap dhar sangram jit Khar Dooshanam.
He wears a crown, earrings and a graceful tilak, with fine ornaments on every limb. His arms reach his knees, he carries bow and arrows, and he defeated Khar and Dushan in battle.
Iti vadati Tulsidas Shankar Shesh muni man ranjanam, Mam hriday kanj nivas kuru kamadi khaldal ganjanam.
Thus says Tulsidas: O delight of the hearts of Shiva, Shesh and the sages, destroyer of the wicked band of desire and the other vices, make your home in the lotus of my heart.
Manu jahi racheu milihi so baru sahaj sundar sanvaro, Karuna nidhan sujan sheel saneh janat ravaro.
Goddess Gauri blesses Sita: the naturally handsome, dark-complexioned groom your heart has chosen will be yours. He is a treasure of compassion, all-knowing, and he knows your goodness and love.
Ehi bhanti Gauri asees suni Siy sahit hiy harshit ali, Tulsi Bhavanihi pooji puni puni mudit man mandir chali.
Hearing Gauri's blessing, Sita and her companions rejoiced at heart. Tulsidas says that Sita worshipped Bhavani again and again and returned to the palace with a joyful mind.
Jani Gauri anukool Siy hiy harshu na jai kahi. Manjul mangal mool vam ang pharkan lage.
Knowing that Gauri was pleased with her, Sita felt a joy beyond words, and her left limbs began to throb, a lovely sign of good fortune to come.
